As a Libertarian, you approach a campaign a little differently than a Republican or Democrat… uphill, to be blunt. 🙂

The majority of the people identify as either an R or a D, and we know they tend to stay that way unless we reach them where they live.

We have to show them – and the uncommitteds – that we have a better solution.

I know that’s your plan. And it sure would be helpful to get a little more momentum behind your message, right?

We have a pretty cool program that does just that. We call it Facebook Accelerator. It does some pretty cool stuff.

First, a little background. You know that with Facebook you can target your ads to a very specific audience. That’s great whether you’re trying to reach all of Texas, or a single precinct. And you’re not limited to geography – how about men age 35-39 in Killeen who like Willie Nelson? Or women age 41-47 within 50 miles of Mt. Pleasant who like Paula Deen? You can get pretty tight on the focus, and that’s pretty useful for your campaign.

And let’s talk for a second about the “social” in social media. You love it when your supporters respond to someone griping about property taxes with, “Property taxes are downright immoral, if you think about it. That’s why I’m supporting XXX – check out what he says,” and then they send a link to your website or Facebook page.

You can’t beat dedication like that, right? Well, here’s where it gets really cool

What if you had a robot who monitored everything your voters said, and when they mentioned one of your hot topics, it showed them the relevant link for your campaign? Pretty valuable little electronic campaign worker, huh?

Well, that’s what Facebook Accelerator does from Day One.

But it gets better. Because our little Libertarian robot pays attention to your supporters – specifically, what they say on social media and the people, pages and groups they engage with. (No privacy issues – this is just the stuff you could see if you looked at their timelines yourself.)

And after a little while, it begins to build profiles of what your supporters look like. And then it finds other people similar to your people, who don’t know you yet, and it shows THOSE people your ads.

Your tireless little electronic campaign worker continually refines the process (24/7, because robots don’t sleep), bringing more and more people to your Facebook page, your website, your email list…

Think about it for a second. What will these new people mean for your campaign?
